Working with the local PACT committee, Town Councillor Jamie Shaw has won agreement from the county council to improve street lighting on the footpath linking Hermitage Way, Linden Ave and Wesley Ave.  Two extra lamp standards will be erected and the beams from existing lights improved.
 
“I can confirm that the work has been ordered.  Obviously, I shall track it until completed,” says Jamie.
